Flörtte şiddete yönelik tutum ölçeklerinin güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışması

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Flörtte Şiddete Yönelik Tutumlar Ölçeklerinin Türkçeye uyarlanması ve ölçeklerin geçerlik, güvenirlikçalışmaları yapılmıştır. Araştırma, 2012-2013 öğretim yılında Orta Karadeniz bölgesindeki bir üniversiteye devametmekte olan öğrenciler arasından uygun/kazara örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiştir. Flörtte Şiddete Yönelik TutumlarÖlçekleri kız ve erkeklerin flörtte fiziksel, psikolojik ve cinsel şiddet tutumlarını belirlemek üzere Price, Byers veFlört Şiddeti Araştırma Ekibi (1999) tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Ölçekler 5li likert tipindedir ve 1Kesinliklekatılmıyorum iken 5Kesinlikle katılıyorum şeklindedir. Ölçekler,Erkeğin Flörtte Uyguladığı PsikolojikŞiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği , Erkeğin Flörtte Uyguladığı Fiziksel Flört Şiddetine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği , Kadının Flörtte Uyguladığı Psikolojik Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ve Kadının Flörtte Uyguladığı FizikselŞiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği şeklindedir. Ölçeklerden alınan yüksek puanlar flört şiddetine yönelik kabul düzeyininyüksek düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir (Price, E.L; Byers, E.S; Dating Violence Research Team, 1999). Ölçeğingeçerliği ve güvenirliğini belirmemek amacıyla, açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi tekniklerikullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre, Erkeğin Flörtte Uyguladığı Psikolojik Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeğinin CronbachAlfa değerinin .81, Erkeğin Flörtte Uyguladığı Fiziksel Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeğinin Cronbach Alfa değerinin.87, Kadının Flörtte Uyguladığı Psikolojik Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeğinin Cronbach Alfa değerinin .75, KadınınFlörtte Uyguladığı Fiziksel Şiddete Yönelik Tutum Ölçeğinin Cronbach Alfa değerinin .82 olduğu görülmektedir.Analiz sonuçları Flörtte Şiddete Yönelik Tutumlar Ölçeklerinin geçerli ve güvenilir ölçekler olduğunu ortayakoymuştur.

Abstract

In this study, The Attitudes towards Dating Violence Scales was adapted into Turkish and their validity and reliabilitywere determined. The sample of the study was determined through random sampling method from students of aMiddle Black Sea Region University in 2012-2013 academic years. The Attitudes towards Dating Violence Scales were developed by Price, Byers and Dating Violence Research Team (1999) on the purpose of determining the maleand female participants attitudes towards physical, psychological and sexual violence in dating. The scales are in theform of five points likert scale and 1 corresponds to strongly disagree while 5 corresponds to strongly agree .The scales consist of the Attitudes towards Male Psychological Dating Violence Scale , the Attitudes towards MalePhysical Dating Violence Scale , the Attitudes towards Female Psychological Dating Violence Scale and theAttitudes towards Female Physical Dating Violence Scale . The high points obtained from the scales means that theacceptance of dating violence level is high (Price, E.L; Byers, E.S; Dating Violence Research Team, 1999). Theexploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were performed in order to determine the validity andreliability of the scale. The findings are as follows: the value of cronbach s alpha for the Attitudes Towards MalePsychological Dating Violence Scale is .81; the value of cronbach s alpha for the Attitudes Towards Male PhysicalDating Violence Scale is .87; the value of cronbach s alpha for the Attitudes Towards Female Psychological DatingViolence Scale is .75 and the value of cronbach s alpha for the Attitudes Towards Female Physical Dating ViolenceScale is .82. The results of the analysis Show that the Attitudes towards Dating Violence Scales are valid and reliable.
