Hamburger ve İnegöl köftelerinden Escherichia coli 0157: H7 izolasyonu

Özet
Bu çalışmada Ankara'da tüketime sunulan 100 hamburger ve 100 İnegöl köfte olmak üzere toplam 200 örnek, E. coli Ol57:H7yönünden analize alınmıştır. Örneklerden E. coli O157:H7 izole edilemezken hamburger örneklerinin 2'si (%2) İnegöl köfte örneklerinin ise 5'i (%5) E. coli 0157 ile kontamine bulunmuştur. Yapılan verositotoksin testinde ise izolatların tümünün verositotoksijenik (VI*) olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak VT* E. coli 0157'nin- hamburger ve İnegöl köftelerinde bulunuşu, bu mikroorganizmanın halk sağlığı problemlerine neden olabileceğini ve insanlara taşınmasında et ürünlerinin önemli rol oynayabileceğini göstermektedir.
Abstract
In this study a total of 200 meat product samples , sold in Ankara, including 100 hamburger and 100 İnegöl meatball samples were collected and examined for the presence of E. coli O157:H7: E. coli 0157 was isolated from 2(2%) of hamburger and 5 (5 %) of İnegöl meatball samples while E. coli O157:H7 was not isolated fromany of the samples., All of the isolates were tested for verocytotoxin and found verocytotoxigenic (V7*). In conclusion, the presence of VT* E. coli 0157 in hamburger and İnegöl meatball samples suggets that this microorganism could be a potential public health risk and important vehicle of its transmission to man.
