Kültürel Miras ve İnanç Turizmi Açısından Bir Değerlendirme: Tarihi İpek Yolu Şehri Taraz - Kazakistan

Özet

Bu çalışmada Kazakistan’dan geçen İpek Yolu güzergahında tarihi bir şehir olan Taraz’ın kültürel miras ve inanç turizmi açısından önemi incelenmiştir. Taraz’ın Ayşe Bibi Türbesi, Balacı Hatun Türbesi ve Karahan Türbesi gibi inanç turizmi ve kültürel miras turizmi kapsamında değerlendirilebilecek çeşitli öğeleri söz konusudur. Ancak bu potansiyele yönelik mevcut algı ve farkındalıkların durumu bilinmemektedir. Bu araştırma, böyle bir ihtiyaçtan hareket edilerek yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın temel amacı, Taraz’ın inanç turizmi ve kültürel miras turizmi potansiyeline yönelik algının irdelenmesidir. Çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak nitel bir alan araştırması yürütülmüş ve bu kapsamda Taraz ve İpek Yolu konusunda çalışmalar yürüten 40 uzmanla görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen görüşme verileri, içerik analizi ve betimsel analize tabi tutularak görüşme bulguları haline getirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcıların algısının, Taraz’ın tarihsel açıdan sadece Kazakistan’ın değil Orta Asya’nın en eski şehirlerinden biri olduğu ve tarihi İpek Yolu güzergahında bulunan önemli şehirlerden biri olması sebebiyle kültürel miras turizmi ve inanç turizmi açısından önemli bir potansiyele sahip olduğu noktasında birleştiği görülmüştür. Bu çerçevede Taraz’ın, Kazakistan turizmi için önemli bir üstünlük ve turizm talebi için önemli bir cazibe noktası olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study, the importance of the city of Taraz in Kazakhstan in terms of cultural heritage and faith tourism has been analyzed. There have been some values that could be evaluated in terms of cultural heritage and faith tourism in Taraz. But the situation of the existing perceptions and awareness towards these values are not known. This study has been conducted starting from this necessity. Within this scope, the main purpose of the study is to specify the position of cultural heritage and faith tourism potential of Taraz in minds. In accordance with the aim of the study, a quantitative research has been conducted with 40 experts that have been studying about Taraz and Silk Road. Interview data has been analyzed with content analysis and descriptive analysis methods to achieve the findings of the study. According the research results, it has been determined that the perceptions of the participants of the study are united on the idea that; Taraz is among the oldest cities of not only Kazakhstan but also Central Asia, it is one of the important cities of Silk Road and the city has an important cultural heritage and faith tourism potential because of these characteristics.
