Özet

Bu çalışmada öncelikle Ilgaz ilçesinin turizm potansiyelinin incelenmesi, ardından ilçenin turizm potansiyelinin SWOT analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada ilçenin turizm potansiyeli; "doğa ve spor", "kültür ve inanç" ve "sağlık" kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. SWOT analizi sonucunda; ilçe turizminin güçlü yönleri, zayıf yönleri, fırsatları ve tehditleri saptanmıştır. İlçe turizminin başlıca güçlü yönleri; bozulmamış doğa, zengin flora-fauna ve endemik bitki varlığıdır. İlçe turizminin başlıca zayıf yönleri; altyapı yetersizliği, pazar bilincinin yetersizliği ve finansman sorunlarıdır. Türkiye'de ve dünyada alternatif turizm türlerine yönelik artan ilgi, kırsal turizm faaliyetlerine destek verilmesi ilçe turizminin başlıca fırsatlarını oluştururken Devrez çayındaki kirlilik-kışın ilçe merkezinde yaşanan hava kirliliği, bitki türlerinin tehlike altında olması ilçe turizminin başlıca tehditlerini oluşturmaktadır

Abstract

In this study, first of all it is aimed to examine the tourism potential of the Ilgaz district, after it is aimed to make the SWOT analysis of the district’s tourism potential. In the study, tourism potential of district has been evaluated within “nature and sports”, “culture and belief” and “health”. As a result of the SWOT analysis; the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of district tourism have been determined. The main strengths of district tourism are unspoilt nature, rich flora-fauna and endemic plant existence. The main weaknesses of the district tourism are lack of substructure, inadequacy of market consciousness, and financing problem. While increasing Interest in alternative tourism types in Turkey and in the world, support for rural tourism activities constitute the main opportunities of the district tourism, the pollution in Devrez Streamlet-air pollution in the district center in winter, endangered plant species constitute the main threats of the district tourism.
