Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı restoran çalışanlarının algılamış oldukları örgütsel güven düzeylerinin örgütsel vatandaşlık ve iş performansı üzerinde etkisi olup olmadığını tespit etmektir. Araştırma, benzer ürünleri veya hizmetleri sunan birçok işletmenin bulunduğu yiyecek içecek sektöründe faaliyet gösteren restoranlara önerilerde bulunmaktadır. Bu öneriler çalışanların örgüte olan bağlılığının, güveninin ve performansının artması ve işletmelerin verimliliğinin ve rekabet edilebilirliğinin geliştirilmesi açısından oldukça önemlidir. Araştırma evrenini 3 Kasım 2017 tarihinde Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı’nın internet sitesinde yer alan, Eskişehir’deki turizm işletme belgeli birinci sınıf 19 adet restoran çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Evreni temsil etme açısından örneklem alma yoluna gidilmemiş 19 adet restoranın çalışanlarının tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma evreni içerisinde yer alan 19 adet restorandan 4’ünün kapandığı tespit edilmiştir. Geriye kalan 15 adet restoranda çalışan 200 personele ulaşılmış ve 170 adet kullanılabilir anket formu elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda örgütsel güvenin, örgütsel vatandaşlık ve iş performansını pozitif yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca örgütsel vatandaşlığın, iş performansını olumlu yönde etkilediği ortaya konmuştur.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether the levels of perceived organizational trust employees employed at restaurant have an effect on organizational citizenship and business performance. The research offers suggestions for restaurants operating in the food and beverage industry where many businesses provide similar products or services. These implications are very important in terms of increasing employees' commitment, confidence and performance, and improving the productivity and competitiveness of businesses. The population of this research constitutes employees of 19 first class restaurants with tourism business license in Eskişehir, which is on the web site of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on 3 November 2017. Since it is possible to reach all employees of 19 first class restaurant that are included in this research, it has been tried to reach all restaurant employees. It has been determined that 4 of 19 restaurants that are included in this research are closed. 200 staffs of 15 restaurants remained were reached and 170 available questionnaires were obtained. The result of this research indicates that organizational trust possitively impacts organizational citizenship and business performance. It also revealed that organizational citizenship positively affects business performance.
