Lamba Parlaklığı Konusunun Öğretiminde Analoji Kullanımının Etkisi

Özet
Bu araştırmada lamba parlaklığı konusunun öğretiminde analoji kullanımının öğrenme ve kavram yanılgılarının giderilmesi üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya ortaokul beşinci sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 98 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada eşitlenmemiş kontrol gruplu ön ve son test yarı deneysel desen kullanılmış, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Dersler deney grubunda analoji kullanılarak, kontrol grubunda ise analoji kullanılmadan işlenmiştir. Veriler 2 sorudan oluşan bir veri toplama aracıyla toplanmış ve içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda analoji kullanımının öğrenme ve kavram yanılgılarının giderilmesi üzerinde etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu nedenle analojilerin öğretimde kullanılmasının gerekli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Abstract
This study was investigated the effect of using analogy on the teaching of the brightness of a bulb, learning and elimination of misconceptions. The study was conducted with the participation of 98 fifth grade students. The unmatched control group pretest and posttest quasi-experimental method was used, interviews were done with students. Analogy was used in the experimental group and analogy was not used in the control group. A data collection form consisting of two questions was used in this study. Data were analyzed using content analysis. As a result of the study, it has been found that the using of analogy is effective on the learning and elimination of misconceptions. For this reason it is considered that using of analogies is necessary in teaching.
