Özet
Çeviri eğitiminde metin türünden yola çıkmak, kaynak metnin türünü ortaya koymak, önemlidir. Metnin türü metnin iletişimsel amacını tanımlar ve çeviri stratejilerine yön verir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, işlemsel metin türü ve onun alttürü olarak afiş ve propaganda metinlerinin işleniş biçimini irdelemektir. Çeviri amaçlı metin çözümlemede metnin türünün, sözbilimsel ve dilsel yapılanmasının önemi vurgulanarak, bütüncül bir öğrenme etkinliğine yönelik bir uygulama örneği tanıtılacaktır.
Abstract
n the translation training, it is crucial to identify the text type of the source text. The text type defines the communicative purpose of the text and determines translation strategies. This study aims at investigating the operative text type and its subtypes i.e., poster and propaganda texts and how they are handled during educational activities. In translation-oriented text analysis, the importance of text type, rhetorical and linguistic structure is emphasised thereby exemplifying a comprehensive learning activity.
