Özet

İnsan yaşamının en vazgeçilmez parçalarından biri olan dil, toplumdaki değişmelere paralel bir şekilde tarihsel olarak çeşitli değişimler yaşar. Bu değişimler; şekil, kurallar, yazım, noktalama gibi hususlarda Çalışmamızın konusuna temel oluşturan anlam değişmeleri, bir göstergenin daha önce gösterdiği kavrama göre bütünüyle başka bir kavramı göstermesi olarak gerçekleşebileceği gibi, o göstergenin gösterdiği kavramın yanında çokanlamlı duruma gelerek (ya da çokanlamlı özelliğini yitirerek) yeni kavramları da karşılaması (ya da karşıladığı başka kavramları artık karşılamıyor olması) durumlarında gerçekleşebilir. Anlamlar değişirken farklı evreler geçirirler ve farklı yollarla içeriklerinde bazı değişiklikler söz konusu olur. Bu da her anlam değişmesinin bir anlam olayı yoluyla gerçekleştiğini göstermektedir

Abstract

One of the most indispensable part of human lifa, language, historically changes paralel with society. Semantic changes which is the subject of our study, can show different meanings from previous item, and beside this item can have polysemic situation and refers new meanings (or may lose polysemic situation). Meanings have different levels while changing and in different ways they have contentual differences. So it is the evidence of every semantic change is a result of a semantic event. The aim of this thesis is comparing Kâmûs-ı Türkî (1901) and Türkçe Sözlük (2011) in meanings of lexems, semantic changes and theirs basical semantic events. In the introduction of this paper, some general informations about semantic, semantic changes and semantic events are given. After this chapter, matchs of meaning and seme in determined lexems of Kâmûs-ı Türkî are shown and semantic changes and semantic events in meanings and semes of verbs are analysed from Kâmûs-ı Türkî to Türkçe Sözlük. In the chapter of evaluation, meaning matchs, semantic changes and semantic events in the lexems are given on the tables and stats about them are posted. In conclusion chapter, general consideration of semantic changes in meanings of verbs through some factors in a hundred and ten years period of time in Kâmûs-ı Türkî and Türkçe Sözlük was done
