Özet

"Ne", Türk dilinin tarihî akışı içerisinde ortaya çıktığı ilk metinlerden günümüze kadar işlevini de sahip olduğu farklı anlamları da korumuş ve bunları hala devam ettiren kelimelerden biridir. "Ne"nin kökeni hakkında farklı görüşler ileri sürülmektedir. Köken bilgisine ve bununla ilgili farklı görüşlere yazının asıl konusu olmadığı için konuyu ilgilendirdiği kadarıyla değinilecektir. Yazı, Kutadgu Bilig'le birlikte sona erdiği söylenen "ne"nin bağlama edatı görevinin Kazak Türkçesinde kullanıldığı noktasından hareket etmektedir.
