Özet

Yakınçağlarda bölgelerarası ticaretin önemli bir değişme gösterdiği bilinmektedir. Avrupa'da hızla gelişen endüstrinin talebi sonucu, tarımsal ürünlerin dış ticarete kayması; mal akımı ilişkilerinde ve yönünde önemli bir değişime sebep olmuştur. Bu işleyiş, kendi sistemini de birlikte getirmiştir. XIX. yüzyıl sonunda yeni bir ulaşım teknolojisinin ürünü olan demiryolunun, Osmanlı'ya girişi bu şartlarda gerçekleşmiştir. Sultan II. Abdülhamid'in, Osmanlı Devleti'nin başına geçtiği dönemden, o güne gelinceye kadarki siyasî, askerî ve iktisadî şartlardan dolayı, devlet bütçesi tükenmiş bir haldeydi. Dolayısıyla, Avrupa'nın kara ve deniz alanındaki gelişmelerini takip etmek, bu malî durumla imkânsız bir hale gelmişti. Osmanlı devlet adamları bir taraftan ülke ekonomisini düzeltme, diğer taraftan tebaanın refah ve saadetini artırma çarelerini arıyorlardı. Bu dönemdeki en önemli meselelerden bir tanesi de ulaşım ve buna bağlı olarak nakliyenin oldukça güç şartlarda yapılmasıydı. Ulaşım maliyeti oldukça yüksek olup, bir malın üretilen noktadan iskeleye gelinceye kadar fiyatı 3-5 kat artmaktaydı. Bu çalışmada II. Abdülhamid döneminde, Selanik-Manastır ve Selanik-İstanbul demiryolları güzergâhları boyunca işletilen bakır, gümüş, zımpara, krom, antimuan gibi çeşitli madenler, bunlarla ilgili olarak ortaya çıkan çeşitli meseleler ve bunların işleticileri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir

Abstract

Interregional trade indicated a significant change in the modern times. As a result of the demand in agricultural products by steadily improving industry, their transferring to foreign trade led to an important change in terms of product flow relations and ways. This process brought in with its own system. Railway which was a new transportation technology was introduced to the Ottoman under these conditions. When Sultan Abdulhamid II succeeded to the throne of Ottoman Empire, state budget had been exhausted because of political, military and economical conditions until that day. Therefore, it was impossible to follow developments in terrestrial and naval fields by means of this kind of economical conditions. Ottoman politicians were seeking for solution both prosper the state and improve citizen’s welfare level and happiness. One of the most important problems in this period was transit transport and accordingly was done in difficult conditions of transport. Transportation cost is quite high, from the point of a commodity produced until the pier was increased 3-5 times the price. In this study, it will be mentioned that various mine concessions such as copper, silver, carborundum, chrome, antimony worked out along railway routes of Salonica-Bitola and Salonica-Istanbul, and diverse issues related to it; where the extracted mines would be taken from or to; their point of exit from port, quay and docks and their processors
