Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının kapsayıcı eğitime yönelik yaklaşımlarının incelenmesidir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemine uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını İstanbul’da A Üniversitesinde Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim gören 15 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır.

A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used as the data collection tool in the research. The obtained data were analyzed using the content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that teacher candidates perceived inclusive education as taking differences into account, providing equal opportunities among students and creating a suitable learning environment. It was concluded that, according to the teacher candidates, inclusive education creates a suitable learning environment for students and that communication between teachers and the components of inclusive education is important for its effective implementation.
