THE DIRECTORS`AND TEACHERS` SUGGESTIONS FOR THE `TEACHING EXPERIENCE` LESSON

Abstract
This study was aimed to find out teachers` and directors` suggestions for the `teaching experience`lesson. A semi-structured questionnaire form was delivered to 670 teachers and 22 directors selected purposively from 22 schools in this qualitative research study. The themes derived from the data analyzed based on content analys`s rules were; supporting the effectiveness of the process, faculty-school cooperation and interaction, the period of practice and no need any changes. According to the results, it was suggested that pre-service teachers should spend time in schools more than they used to do, there should be decrease in number of pre-service teachers for each teacher, faculty-school cooperation and interaction should be provided. Furthermore, the extension of the lesson`s period and beginning with the term time was suggested.
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının gittikleri uygulama okullarındaki yönetici ve eğitici personelin Okul Deneyimi dersine ilişkin önerilerini tespit etmektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle desenlendirilen bu çalışmada amaca yönelik örneklem yöntemine göre tespit edilen 22 okuldan 670 eğitici ve 22 yöneticiye yarı yapılandırılmış anket formu uygulanmıştır. İçerik analiziyle çözümlenen verilerden sürecin etkinliğini sağlama, fakülte-okul işbirliği ve iletişim, uygulamanın süresi ve değişikliğe gerek yok/öneri yap(a)mıyorum temaları oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, aday öğretmenlerin uygulama okullarında daha uzun süreli kalmaları, her eğiticiye gönderilen aday öğretmen sayısının azaltılması, fakülte ve okul arasında etkin bir iletişimin ve işbirliğinin sağlanması istenilmiştir. Ayrıca, okul deneyimi dersinin süresinin uzatılması ve dersin dönem ile birlikte başlayıp kesintisiz sürmesi önerilmiştir.
