Festivals and festival celebrations in the Ghaznavids and the Great Seljuks

Abstract
It was observed that three major festivals were celebrated in the Ghaznavids and the Great Seljuks besides the religious festivals. These festivals were Newrouz, marking the first day of spring and the beginning of the year, Mehregan, marking the first day of autumn, and Sadeh. These three celebrations/festivals were observed in the two states all along the line. This text gives information about these festivals.
Özet
Gazneliler ve Büyük Selçuklular döneminde dini bayramlar haricinde üç önemli kutlamanın yapıldığı görülmektedir. Baharın başlangıcı olan Nevruz, Sonbahar’ın başlangıcı olan Mihrigân ve Sede bayramları. Bu üç bayram kutlaması her iki devletin hâkimiyet sahasında aksatılmadan devam ettirilmiştir. Bu metin bayramlar ve kutlamaları hakkında bilgiler içermektedir.
