An evaluation on religious types in “Esrefoglu Rumi”s Divan

Abstract
Classical Turkish literature, which has existed for centuries as a product of a deep-rooted accumulation, has been fed from many different sources. Language, religion, culture, nature, science and social life can be counted among these resources. Sufism, which is among these sources, has an important place in the society, as well as deeply affecting the Classical period Turkish literature texts. Therefore, many poets and sufis have contributed directly or indirectly to the sufi tradition by using mystical elements. In classical literature, especially while the fiction of the text was being created, many artists made extensive use of types and personalities to express their feelings. Religious and mystical types constitute an important part of these types and personalities. Eşrefoglu Rumi, one of the most important representatives of the 15th century dervish-sufi literature, is also one of the important poets who use the typologies that represent distinctive behaviors in social life in his Divan. It has been seen that the poet frequently uses types such as ascetic, sufi, hace, dervish, murshid/sheikh, murîd, ârif, sâkî, faqih in his poems. In this study, religious typologies in Eşrefoğlu Rumi's Divan and the meanings attributed to them by the poet will be discussed.
Özet
Köklü bir birikimin mahsulü olarak yüzyıllar boyunca varlığını sürdüren Klasik Türk edebiyatı, pek çok farklı kaynaktan beslenmiştir. Dil, din, kültür, tabiat, bilim ve cemiyet yaşamı bu kaynaklar arasında sayılabilir. Yine bunlar içerisinde olup toplumu derinden etkilediği gibi Klasik dönem Türk edebiyatı metinleri üzerinde de tesirini ciddi şekilde hissettiren tasavvuf da önemli bir yer teşkil eder. Dolayısıyla pek çok şair ve mutasavvıf, tasavvufi unsurları kullanarak tasavvufi geleneğe doğrudan yahut dolaylı bir şekilde katkı sağlamıştır. Klasik edebiyatta özellikle metnin kurgusu oluşturulurken birçok sanatçı duygularını ifade etme yolunda tip ve şahsiyetlerden de yoğun olarak yararlanmışlardır. Bu tip ve şahsiyetlerin önemli bir bölümünü dinî ve tasavvufi tipler oluşturur. XV. yüzyıl tekke-tasavvuf edebiyatının en önemli temsilcilerinden birisi olan Eşrefoğlu Rûmî de Dîvân’ında toplum yaşantısında belirgin davranışları temsil eden tiplemeleri oldukça yoğun bir şekilde kullanan önde gelen şairlerdendir. Yapılan taramada şairin; zâhid, sûfî, hâce, dervîş, mürşid/şeyh, mürîd, ârif, sâkî, fakîh gibi tipleri şiirlerinde çokça kullandığı görülmüştür. Bu çalışmada Eşrefoğlu Rûmî Dîvânı’nda yer alan dinî tiplemeler ve şairin bunlara yüklediği anlamlar ele alınmıştır.
