Two types of Salar oral literature: Saghəsi and Orəh Suzi

Abstract

Saghəsi and Orəh Suzı are common two types in Salar oral literature. Saghəsi, usually performed by women, is a kind of elegy that is sung at a wedding ceremony. It has a particular rhyme scheme and can be evaluated in the form of folk songs. Orəh suzı is performed during the final part of wedding ceremony and it deals mainly with eulogy and pendname and it is often merged with camel game (döyi play) in which the story of Salars’ migration (exile) is animated. When Orəh suzı’s content and the present form of it is analyzed it can be said that amusement function stands in the forefront today, while the previous species of this type had a more didactic function. In this study, very special two types of ceremonial items in Salar Turkey, saghəsi and orəh suzı has been tried to evaluate both in terms of content and elements of harmony. Language properties of Salar Turkish are presented to the attention at the same time while this evaluation is presented.

Özet

Sagış ve Orıh Söz Salar sözlü edebiyatında yaygın iki türdür. Genellikle kadınlar tarafından icra edilen saġışlar, düğünlerde söylenen bir tür ağıttır, belirli bir kafiye düzenine sahiptir ve türkü formu içerisinde değerlendirilebilir. Orıh söz ise düğünlerde, düğün töreninin son aşamasında icra edilen ve genellikle Salarların göç (sürgün) hikâyesinin canlandırıldığı deve oyunuyla (döyi oyna) birleştirilen methiye, pendname içerikli bir üretimdir. Orıh sözün içeriği ve günümüzdeki kullanılış biçimi incelendiğinde bu türün önceleri daha çok didaktik bir işlev üstlenmiş iken günümüzde eğlence işlevinin ön plana çıktığı söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada Salar Türklerinde törensel öge olan çok özel iki tür, Saġış ve Orıh Söz, hem içerik hem ahenk unsurları bakımından değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu değerlendirme yapılırken aynı zamanda Salar Türkçesinin dil özellikleri de dikkatlere sunulmuştur.
