Abstract

Distiller dried grains with solubles (DDGS) is a coproduct obtained in the dry-milling process of corn to produce ethanol after fermentation with the yeast Sacharomices cereviceae. The DDGS is a valuable source of energy, protein, phosphorus, water-soluble vitamins and minerals for animals. Increased emphasis on ethanol production in the world has and will continue to lead to significant increases in the amount of distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) available to the feed industry. When considering the potential use of an ingredient such as DDGS, primary emphasis is placed on obtaining accurate information regarding metabolizable energy and amino acid composition

Kurutulmuş damıtık mısır+çözünür maddeleri (DMÇM) fermentasyondan sonra ethanol üretimi sonucu elde edilen bir yan üründür. DMÇM, enerji, protein, fosfor, suda çözünen vitaminler ve mineraller bakımından değerli bir yem hammaddesidir. Dünyada ethanol üretiminin artması sonucu yem endüstrisinde kullanılacak DMÇM’nin miktarında bir artış meydana gelmiştir. DMÇM gibi yem maddelerinin potansiyel kullanıldığı düşünülürse, metabolik enerji ve yemin aminoasit komposizyonu ile ilgili doğru bilgilere ulaşılabilir
