The Evaluation of the Lesson Plan Concerning Fractional Operations

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the lesson plan prepared about fractional operations. In this study, data was gathered using quantitative and qualitative methods. The study was realized on 23, 6th grade students. As for data collection, achievement test (as pre- test, post-test) and interview form were used. In the data analysis, paired-samples t test and descriptive analysis were used.As a result of the study, there is a significant difference between pre-test, pos-test scores concerning achievement test . Also, there is a significant difference between pre-test, pos-test scores concerning at the level of knowledge, comprehension and application. This output- input difference can be evaluated as a success of lesson plan and can be decided that the applied plan is efficient. Also, it was seen that the students have gained positive affective characteristics oriented the lesson taught using station technique.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı kesirlerde işlemler konusuna ilişkin hazırlanan ders planını değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada veriler nicel ve nitel yöntemler kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma 6.sınıfta, 23 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak başarı testi (ön test-son test olarak) ve görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ilişkili örneklemler için t testi ve betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin başarı testine ilişkin ön test- son test puanları arasında (toplam erişi düzeyi) anlamlı fark elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca bilgi, kavrama ve uygulama düzeyine yönelik ön test-son test puanları arasında anlamlı fark elde edilmiştir. Bu çıktı-girdi farkı ders planının başarısı olarak değerlendirilebilir ve uygulanan programın etkili olduğuna karar verilebilir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin İstasyon tekniği ile işlenen derse karşı olumlu duyuşsal özellikler kazandığı görülmüştür.
