Abstract

In the research, the impact of using Augmented Reality applications in “the Solar System and Beyond unit” of Science lesson on the academic achievement of the students and the opinions of the students on these applications have been examined. 45 students in the 7th grade of an elementary school in the Dilovası district of Kocaeli constitute the study group of the research. In the research, quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group has been used. As data collection tools, the Solar System and Beyond Achievement Test (SSBAT) by the researchers was used. As a result of the data analysis, a significant difference in favour of the experimental group was found.

Özet

Araştırmada; Artırılmış Gerçeklik uygulamalarının Fen Bilimleridersi Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi ünitesinde kullanılmasının öğrenci akademikbaşarısına etkisi ve öğrencilerin bu uygulamalar hakkındaki görüşleriincelenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kocaeli’nin Dilovasıilçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunun 7. Sınıfındaki 45 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada öntest–sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır.Araştırmacılar veri toplama aracı olarak Güneş Sistemi ve Ötesi Başarı Testi(GSÖBT) geliştirmişlerdir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda deney gurubundauygulanan Artırılmış Gerçeklik uygulamalarının akademik başarıyı olumluolarak etkilediği belirlenmiştir.
