The views of participants about using creative drama in measurement and evaluation class

Ölçme ve değerlendirme dersinde yaratıcı dramanın kullanılmasına ilişkin katılımcı görüşleri

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the effects of creative drama method on an Measurement and Evaluation course instruction which are important for applying curricula, provide concrete experience and identify participants views. Eighteen hour instructional process was prepared with creative drama method covering the topics in Measurement and Evaluation course which were then applied to 27 participants. Pre- and post-tests were applied to students for identfying their prior knowledge and this was applied again at the end of the process for identfying difference between achievement levels before and after the process. Portfolio (Individual Development- Product Folder) was requested from participants for identfying behavior changes in cognitive & affective level. The result of creative drama has an effect of both cognitive and affective domains on course was found.

Özet

Araştırmanın amacı, Ölçme-Değerlendirme dersinin yaratıcı drama yöntemiyle somut yaşantılar oluşturulmaya çalışılarak işlenmesi, bu sürecin katılımcıların başarı durumu üzerindeki etkisinin belirlenmesi ve katılımcı görüşlerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Araştırmada, Ölçme-Değerlendirme dersini alan 27 öğretmen adayı katılımcıyla bu amaca hizmet ettiği düşünülen toplam 18 saatlik yedi atölye çalışması yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın başlangıcında ve sonunda öğrencilerin bilişsel birikimlerini belirlemek amacıyla öntest - sontest uygulanmıştır. Duyuşsal boyuttaki olası değişim ya da gelişimi belirlemek amacıyla katılımcılardan bireysel gelişim-ürün dosyası (portfolyo) hazırlamaları istenmiştir. Sonuçta yaratıcı drama yönteminin kullanılmasıyla katılımcıların bilişsel ve duyuşsal boyuttaki başarı, değişim ve gelişimlerinin farklılaştığı söylenebilir.
