Determination of listeria monocytogenes presence and some microbiological properties in brined white cheese purchased from markets in Erzurum

Abstract
In this research, Listeria presence and microbiological quality were determined in 29 white cheese samples, purchased from market of Erzurum were analyzed. It was found that Listeria monocytogenes was determined in only one sample (3.45%). Bu çalışmada Erzurum piyasasından temin edilen 29 beyaz peynir örneğinde Listeria varlığı ve bazı mikrobiyolojik özellikleri açısından incelenmiştir. Örneklerin sadece bir tanesinde (%3,45) Listeria monocytogenes belirlenmiştir.
