Özet

Türkçe Öğretmenliği Lisans Programı'nda 59 ders yer almaktadır. Fakat bu derslerde Türkçe öğretmeni adayları Türkçenin ilk kaynaklarını okuma ve değerlendirme fırsatı bulamamaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türkçe öğretmeni adaylarının Türkçenin tarihî dönemlerini incelemeleri, Türkçecilik alanındaki eser ve şahısları tanımaları amacıyla yürütülen bir seçmeli ders uygulaması tanıtılmış ve uygulamaya yönelik öğretmen adaylarının görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmada betimsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 12 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veriler, yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizindeiçerik analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Türkçe öğretmeni adayları,yapılan uygulamada çeşitli zorluklarla karşılaşmalarına rağmen, uygulamayı kendileri açısından önemli bulduklarını ve uygulama ile çeşitli açılardan kendilerini geliştirdiklerini ifade etmişlerdir.

Abstract

There are 59 courses in the Undergraduate Program for Turkish Teaching. However,intern Turkish teachers cannot find an opportunity in this program to read the primarysources of the Turkish language. In this study we introduce new elective course designed togive the intern teachers of Turkish in this program some information on the history of thelanguage with its periodical development throughout the past centuries. The new course also give them information on the primary sources of Turkish and their authors. After introducingthese teachers to this new course we ask for their opinion about the success and benefits ofthe course for them. Our study is using descriptive approach. We have chosen 12 Turkishteacher candidates from Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University as samples for our study. The data inour study is collected bysemi--structural interviews. Then the results reached are evaluated onthe basis of content analysis. The general opinion which is found at the end of our research isthat most teachers found our course useful and that they have benefited from it very muchthough in practice they encountered some difficulties.
