Özet

Araştırmanın amacı Okul Öncesi Öğretmeni adaylarının Okul Öncesi Öğretmen iYetiştirme Programı hakkındaki değerlendirmelerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmabetimsel türde nitel bir çalışmadır. Verilerin toplanmasında yarı yapılandırılmış veyönlendirici olmayan görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2011 -2012 eğitim-öğretimyılında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniv ersitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliğiokuyan 30 öğretmen adayı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada Okul Öncesi ÖğretmenAdaylarının, Okul Öncesi Öğretmeni Yetiştirme Programı hakkında görüşleri alınmıştır.Alınan cevaplara göre, lisans programında önemli değişiklikler yapılması ve programınetkililiği sürekli ölçülmesi gerekmektedir. Hâlihazırda okutulan bazı derslerin içerik veöğretim yöntemleri geliştirilmeli ve bunlar yapılırken öğretmen adaylarının ihtiyaçları dadikkate alınmalıdır.

Abstract

The p urpose of the study is to investigate the pre -school teacher candidates opinionsabout the pre-school teacher education program. The opinion of pre -school teachercandidates about Pre -S chool Education Undergraduate Program, their suggestions aboutthe efficiency and the performance of the program, and their course suggestions wererevealed in the study. The study is a descriptive study. While collecting data semiconstructed and nondirective interview technique was used. The study was conductedwith 30 pre -school teacher candidates who are student at Çanakkale Onsekiz MartUniversity during the academic year of 2011 -2012. Pre -school teacher training programshould be reconsidered and Core Courses , Major Area Courses and General CulturalCourses should be arranged to be more effective an d functional. It should be useful toupdate the program to be applied through the requirements and environmental andtechnological demands of pre-school students. The content of the program should bedetermined considering teacher candidates proficiencies who are going to be pre-schoolteachers.
