Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim 8.sınıf öğrencilerinin ve öğretmenlerin KelimedenKavrama (KEKA) oyunu hakkındaki düşüncelerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmanınörneklemini, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş bir ilköğretim okulunun 8.sınıfındaöğrenim gören 16 öğrenci ve araştırma sürecinde günlük tutan 1 öğretmen oluşturmuştur.Araştırma verileri, öğretmen günlükleri ve yapılandırılmış üç açık uçlu sorudan oluşanGörüşme Protokolü (GP) ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri betimsel analizyaklaşımıyla incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin çoğu KelimedenKavrama (KEKA) oyunu hakkında olumlu görüş belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin tamamınayakını KEKAnın yararlı olduğunu düşünmektedir. Buna rağmen az sayıda öğrenciKEKAyı sevmemiş ve yararlı bulmamıştır. Diğer yandan öğrenciler, ilköğretim 6, 7 ve8.sınıf öğretim düzeylerinde bulunan bazı öğrenme a lanlarında KEKAnınuygulanabileceğini belirtmiştir.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to expose the consideration of primary 8 th grade students andteachers about From Word to Notion (WONO) game. The illustration of the study wascomposed with 16 students educating in a primary school in 8 th class and a teacherlogging during th e research that were selected by purposeful sampling methodology. Dataof the research was collected with teacher logs and interview protocol (IP) whichconsisted of the structured three open -ended questions. Data were analyzed withdescriptive analysis ap proach. According to the results of the study; Most of the studentsobtained positive view about From Word to Notion (WONO) game. Almost all studentsthink that the WONO is beneficial. However a few students did not like the WONO anddid not think that it was beneficial. On the other side, the students obtained that theWONO could be applied at some learning areas within the education level of the primary6 th, 7 th and 8 th grades.
