Determination of yield and yield components of some soybean (Glycine max L.) varieties at high altitudes

Abstract

This investigation was carried out in Bingol that had 1151 meter altitude in East Gateway Region of Turkey in 2012 and 2014. The study was established according to the randomized block experimenta ldesign with three replication. In this research such as Ataem-7, Yemsoy, Yeşilsoy, Adasoy, Cinsoy, Blaze, Nova, May 5312, Erensoy, Türksoy, Umut 2002 ve Nazlıcan soybean varieties were used as materials. In the all soybean varieties node number, seed number per pod, branche number, pod number, plant height, first fruit height, 1000 seed weight, harvest index, oil rate and seed yield characteristics were investigated. In the experiment; The highest number of nodes was found from Adasoy cultivar with 24.53 number plant-1, the highest fruit height 40.30 cm with Yemsoy, the highest 1000 weight 156.96 g with Umut-2002, the highest yield with 239.10 kg da-1 Yeşilsoy and highest oil rate content was obtained from Yeşilsoy with 18.78% in the 2012 growing season. The highest number of nodes was found from Ataem-7 cultivar with 20.33 number plant-1, the highest fruit height 31.23 cm with Ataem-7, the highest 1000 weight 128.18 g with Erensoy, the highest yield with 112.63 kg da-1 Yemsoy and highest oil rate content was obtained from Türksoy with 17.61% in the 2014 growing season.

Özet

Bu araştırma, 2012 ve 2014 yıllarında Türkiye’nin Doğu geçit bölgesinde bulunan 1151 m rakıma sahip Bingöl ilinde yürütülmüştür. Deneme 3 tekerrürlü olarak tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada; Ataem-7, Yemsoy, Yeşilsoy, Adasoy, Cinsoy, Blaze, Nova, May 5312, Erensoy, Türksoy, Umut 2002 ve Nazlıcan çeşitleri materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Boğum sayısı, baklada tohum sayısı, dal sayısı, bakla sayısı, bitki boyu, ilk meyve yüksekliği, 1000 tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi, yağ oranı ve dekara verim gibi önemli özellikler incelenmiştir. Araştırmada; 2012 yetiştirme sezonunda en yüksek boğum sayısı 24.53 adet bitki-1 ile Adasoy, en yüksek ilk meyve yüksekliği 40.30 cm ile Yemsoy, en yüksek 1000 tane ağırlığı 156.96 g ile Umut-2002, en yüksek dekara verimi 239.10 kg da-1 ile Yeşilsoy, en yüksek yağ oranı %18.78 ile Yeşilsoy’dan elde edilmiştir. 2014 yetiştirme sezonunda en yüksek boğum sayısı 20.33 adet bitki-1 ile Ataem-7, en yüksek ilk meyve yüksekliği 31.23 cm ile Ataem-7, en yüksek 1000 tane ağırlığı 128.18 g ile Erensoy, en yüksek dekara verimi 112.63 kg da-1 ile Yemsoy, en yüksek yağ oranı %17.61 ile Türksoy’dan elde edilmiştir.
