FROM INDUSTRY 4.0 TO EDUCATION 4.0

Abstract

In today's world where knowledge has gradually increased its power and social position as a means of central transformation rather than some tools that remain on the edge and corner, societies have become the object of a mandatory transformation wave with developing technology and Industry 4.0. In the transition from industrial society to information society, the globalization of competition and the flexibility of production, together with Industry 4.0, has made becoming a society producing innovative technologies more effective and important. In this context, the development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, and especially new trends such as Industry 4.0 and Education 4.0 in education have made it inevitable to give appropriate education to this technology. The new technological developments brought by Industry 4.0 are of great importance because of the contribution of all schools in the education system to shaping the country's workforce. It has become a necessity to be very sensitive and careful in terms of trainings brought by innovative approaches in preparing today's children in business life with the logic of tomorrow's technology and elders in business life. In this context; In the light of the developments arising from Industry 4.0, the changes and developments in Education 4.0 have been tried to be explained. In this study, the effect of the concept of industry on historical transformations, the aim of Industrial 4.0 development and its relationship with education, the characteristics of the fourth industrial wave and the effect of the new industrial wave on the education system, the importance of Education 4.0, education and teaching the things that should be done are proposed.

Bilginin kenarda ve köşede kalmış bazı araçlar yerine merkezidönüştürme aracı olarak gücünü ve toplumsal konumunu gittikçearttırdığı günümüzde, toplumlar gelişen teknoloji ve Endüstri 4.0 ilezorunlu bir dönüşüm dalgasının nesnesi hâline gelmiştir. Sanayitoplumundan bilgi toplumuna geçiş aşamasında Endüstri 4.0 ilebirlikte rekabetin küreselleşmesi ve üretimin esnekleşmesi, yenilikçiteknolojileri üreten bir toplum olmayı giderek daha etkin ve önemli hâlegetirmiştir. Bu kapsamda, yapay zekâ, nesnelerin interneti gibi yenigelişen teknolojiler ve özellikle Endüstri 4.0, eğitimde de Eğitim 4.0 gibiyeni yönelimlerin göz önünde bulundurulmasını ve bu teknolojiyeuygun eğitimlerin verilmesini kaçınılmaz kılmıştır. Endüstri 4.0’ıngetirdiği yeni teknolojik gelişmelerin, eğitim sistemi içerisinde bulunanbütün okulların, ülkenin işgücünü şekillendirmedeki katkısı nedeniyleönemi büyüktür. Bugünün okullardaki küçüklerini, yarınınteknolojisinde ve iş hayatındaki büyükleri mantığıyla iş hayatınahazırlamada yenilikçi yaklaşımların getirdiği eğitimler noktasında çokhassas ve dikkatli olunması zorunluluk hâlini almıştır. Bu kapsamdaçalışmada; Endüstri 4.0’dan kaynaklanan gelişmeler ışığında Eğitim4.0’da olması ve yapılması gereken değişiklikler ve gelişmeleraçıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde şekillendirilençalışmada sırasıyla Endüstri 4.0 kavramının tarihsel dönüşümlerüzerindeki etkisi, endüstriyel gelişmenin amacı ve eğitim ile olan ilişkisi,dördüncü endüstriyel dalganın nitelikleri ve yeni endüstriyel dalgagelişirken eğitim sistemindeki etkisi, Eğitim 4.0’ın önemi, eğitim veöğretimde yapılması gerekenler üzerinde önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
