Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik’te etik

Özet

Bu çalışmada Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik uygulamalarında göz önünde bulundurulması gereken etik ilkelerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, öncelikle etik ve meslek etiği kavramları açıklanmış, daha sonra psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik alanında çalışanlar için geliştirilmiş olan etik ilkeler üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında Türk Psikolojik Danışma ve Rehberlik Derneği, Amerikan Psikolojik Danışma Derneği ve Amerikan Okul Psikolojik Danışmanları Derneği’nin yayınladığı etik ilkelerden yararlanılmıştır. İlkelerden bazıları örnek olaylarla zenginleştirilerek açıklanmıştır. Son olarak psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinde etik ve yasa arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Psikolojik danışma uygulamalarının etik ilkeler çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilmesi için ilkelerin hem alanda çalışanlar tarafından içselleştirilmesi hem de uygulamaların yaptırım gücü olan bir denetleme kurumu tarafından kontrol edilmesi gerekmektedir.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the code of ethics which has to be taken into consideration in the services of counseling. By this aim, first of all the terms of ethics and professional ethics were explained and then the code of ethics was emphasised. In this study, the code of ethics of Turkish Psychological Counseling Association, American Counseling Association and American School Counselor Association were used. Some of these code of ethics was explained and enriched by case studies. At the end of the study the relations between ethics and laws in the counseling were examined. In order to do counseling services in the frame of code of ethics, these code of ethics must be accepted by the counselors and also the applications must be controlled by an organisation which has an authority.
