Fakir Baykurt'un Romanlarında Eğitim İzleği

Abstract

The objective of this study is to depict the theme “education” which is one of the main themes in the novels of Fakir Baykurt, who was valued in collective realism. Through this objective, relying on the lexicographic elements which he used in his novels, a study of lexicographic area on educational theme was done.It was tried to depict his educational theme in view of his sense of art and his entire works which were examined through this study by sticking to this lexicographic area. Baykurt believed the strenght of education to change and develop the society. According to him , the aim of education must be to alert the society and to make them conscious. The author focused on this function of education in his novels ,and he also formed and developed his educational theme through this way.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, toplumcu gerçekçilik çizgisi içinde değerlendirilen, yazar-eğitimci Fakir Baykurt’un romanlarının temel izleklerinden biri olan “eğitim” izleğinin betimlenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda yazarın tüm romanlarında kullandığı sözvarlığı ögelerine yaslanılarak eğitim izleğiyle ilgili bir sözlüksel alan çalışması yapılmıştır. Oluşturulan bu sözlüksel alana bağlı kalınarak yazarın ele alınan tüm yapıtları, sanat anlayışı ve felsefesi de göz önünde bulundurularak eğitim izleği betimlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Baykurt eğitimin toplumu değiştirme ve geliştirme gücüne inanır. Yazara göre eğitimin amacı halkı uyarmak ve bilinçlendirmek olmalıdır.Yazar romanlarında eğitimin bu işlevi üzerinde durmuş ve eğitim izleğini bu doğrultuda işleyip geliştirmiştir.
