The effectıveness of the interpersonal relatıon pschoeducatıon program prepared for correctıonal offıcers workıng wıth juvenıle delınquent

Çocuklarla çalışan infaz ve koruma memurlarına yönelik hazırlanan kişilerarası ilişkiler psikoeğitim programı’nın etkiliği

Abstract

This study’s aim is to test whether Interpersonal Relation Pschoeducation Program which was developed by the researcher has any influence on the points that correctional officers who are dealing with juvenile have taken from Conflict Tendency Inventory (CTI). For that purpose, primarily, adaptation work of CTI, which was developed by Dökmen (1986), was carried out. The group on which pschoeducation program’s effectiveness was tested, had been chosen from Ankara Sincan Juvenile Detention and Penal Institution. Adjusted CTI was carried on correctional officers. At the end of application, 15 correctional officers were taken to each experimental and control group. Pschoeducation program which was developed by the researcher was carried out on correctional officers for seven weeks. Eight weeks after the end of program, follow-up test was carried out. On data analysis 2x 3 ANOVA for repeated measures was used. Following the analysis, Bonferroni test was applied to find out the source of interaction among groups and basic effect. In consequence of the research, it was confirmed that pschoeducation program has a positive effect on the points that correctional officers took from CTI. In other words, it was confirmed that positive decrease was observed at points. However, this effect didn’t continue at follow-up test.

Özet

Bu çalışma, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişilerarası İlişkiler Psikoeğitim Programı’nın çocuklarla çalışan infaz ve koruma memurlarının Çatışma Eğilimi Ölçeğinden (ÇEÖ) aldıkları puanlar üzerinde etkili olup olmadığını test etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla öncelikle, Dökmen (1986) tarafında geliştirilen ÇEÖ’nin uyarlama çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Psikoeğitim programının etkililiğinin test edildiği grup, Ankara Sincan Çocuk ve Gençlik Ceza İnfaz Kurumu’ndan seçilmiştir. Uyarlanan ÇEÖ infaz ve koruma memurlarına uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonucunda, deney grubuna 15, kontrol grubuna ise 15 memur alınmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen psikoeğitim programı, yedi hafta boyunca infaz koruma memurlarına uygulanmıştır. Programın bitiminden sekiz hafta sonra izleme testi uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, tekrarlı ölçümler için 2x3 ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonrasında gruplar arası etkileşimin ve temel etkinin kaynağını bulmak için Bonferroni Testi yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; psikoeğitim programının infaz koruma memurlarının ÇEÖ’den aldıkları puanlar üzerinde olumlu bir etkisinin bulunduğu, bir başka deyişle puanlarda olumlu bir düşüş görüldüğü saptanmıştır. Ancak bu etkinin izleme testi puanlarında devam etmediği bulunmuştur.
