Abstract

The aim of this study is to locate the nature of relationship between beauty, aletheia and art from the perspective of Plato how and which is positioned under the roofs of the concept. As it is known, in Plato It weakens the bond with aletheia and art is an activity that is based on imitation. In this context, according to Plato, all kind of mimetic arts as picture, music, poetry, theatre, sculpture are an obstacle in front of truth. This aspect of the art cannot be claimed to offer the beauty. Because, in Plato, the relationship between art and aletheia is connected to reflects how much the beauty. Thus, although art never perfectly able to present to beauty, it still should obtain the beauty for guide in learning that is the only way can come close to truth
