Abstract

The Presidency of Religious Affairs is the only official institution carrying out the works related to the Islamic religion in our country and it has been undertaking various services in order to enlighten the society in terms of religion since its establishment in 1924. These services include Friday and religious holiday khutbahs. With these khutbahs, Religious Affairs communicates directly with a large part of the society on a regular basis every week. In fact, the number of those who attend the Friday and Eid prayers is higher than those who perform the five-time prayers in a day. In other words, Religious Affairs addresses almost every layers of society with khutbahs. On the other hand, in this context, it should be stated that the fact that it is easy to reach different layers of the society with khutbahs shows that there is an area open to abuse. In fact, nowadays, as in the past, communities, associations and foundations in the Islamic world as well as other societies are fed by khutbahs delivered by the leaders. Therefore, khutbahs should not be ignored. It is possible to consider that Religious Affairs has assumed full responsibility at every stage of khutbahs as a sign of its awareness on this issue. Khutbahs have a great place in the formation and remodeling of religious thoughts of Muslims, and even in the setting of their agenda. Undoubtedly, life of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) has great importance. To build the mind worlds and social structures of Muslims, to teach them moral norms and values are built only with the Prophet. This shows again the importance of khutbahs. Because of this value of khutbahs, it is necessary to be considered as an autonomous study in the context of the teaching sirah. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to examine all aspects of sirah narratives in the khutbahs taught in mosques affiliated to The Presidency of Religious Affairs. However, we should say here that we limit our study to the khutbahs taught between 2015 and 2017. During these years, 162 khutbahs totally were given in mosques. In these khutbahs, we tried to determine narrative and teaching of the sirah. We offered some solutions to the problems identified. Hadishs and sections of the prophet life are often included in the context of different subjects. However, both the sections described in the life of the Prophet and the profiles of the prophet presented are seen to be quite different despite the diversity of the audience. We should mention that the same is true to the sources referenced in khutbahs too. In fact, this situation gives rise to a number of problems instead of producing solutions. No doubt, the exploitation of both the person and the life of the prophet is one of these. As a result of this, history witnesses the breaks and concussions that occur among Muslims.

Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, ülkemizde İslâm diniyle ilgili işleri yürüten tek resmî kurumdur ve 1924’te kuruluşundan günümüze değin toplumu dinî yönden aydınlatmak gayesiyle çeşitli hizmetler yürütmektedir. Bu hizmetler arasında Cuma ve bayram hutbeleri yer almaktadır. Diyanet, bu hutbelerle toplumun büyük bir kesimiyle her hafta düzenli bir şekilde doğrudan iletişim kurabilmektedir. Öyle ki, Cuma ve bayram namazlarına iştirak edenlerin sayısı, beş vakit namaz ibadetini yerine getirenlerden katbekat fazladır. Diğer bir ifadeyle Diyanet, hutbelerle toplumun neredeyse her tabakasına hitap etmektedir. Öte taraftan bu bağlamda ifade etmeliyiz ki hutbeyle toplumun farklı kesimlerine ulaşmanın kolay olması, istismar edilmeye açık bir alan olduğunu göstermektedir. Nitekim geçmişte olduğu gibi günümüzde de gerek İslam dünyası gerekse diğer toplumlar içerisindeki cemaat, dernek ve vakıf tarzı oluşumlar, liderler tarafından irat edilen hutbelerden beslenmektedir. Bu yüzden hutbelerin göz ardı edilmemesi gerekmektedir. Diyanet’in hutbelerin her aşamasında tüm sorumluluğu üstlenmiş olmasını, bu konudaki farkındalığına işaret olarak değerlendirmemiz mümkündür. Hutbelerin Müslümanların din algısının oluşmasında, yeniden şekillenmesinde ve hatta onların gündemini belirlemede de büyük bir yeri vardır. Şüphesiz bu noktada Hz. Peygamber’in hayatı büyük bir ehemmiyete sahiptir. Malum olduğu üzere Müslümanların zihin dünyasını ve toplumsal yapısını inşa etmek, onlara ahlakî norm ve değerleri öğretmek ancak Hz. Peygamber’i anlatmakla, onu model olarak sunmakla, örnekliğini ulaştırmakla söz konusudur. Bu durum hutbelerin önemini bir kez daha göstermektedir. Hutbelerin taşıdığı bu kıymetten dolayı siyer anlatımı bağlamında müstakil bir çalışma olarak ele alınmayı gerekli kılmaktadır. Bu yüzden çalışmamızda Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığına bağlı camilerde okutulan hutbelerdeki siyer kapsamına giren anlatımları bütün yönleriyle incelemeyi amaçladık. Ancak çalışmamızı 2015-2017 yılları arasında okutulan hutbelerle sınırlı tuttuğumuzu burada kaydetmeliyiz. Söz konusu yıllar arasında camilerde toplamda 162 hutbe irat edilmiştir. Bu hutbelerde siyer anlatımını ve öğretimini saptamaya çalıştık. Akabinde tespit ettiğimiz problemlere bazı çözüm önerilerinde bulunduk. Hutbelerde Hz. Peygamber’in sözlerine ve hayatından kesitlere farklı konular bağlamında sık sık yer verilmektedir. Ancak gerek Hz. Peygamber hayatından anlatılan kesitler gerekse sunulan peygamber profilleri, muhatap kitlenin çeşitliliğine karşın oldukça farklılık arz ettiği görülmektedir. Aynı durumun hutbelerde başvurulan kaynaklar için de geçerli olduğunu zikretmemiz gerekmektedir. Esasında bu durum çözümler üretmek yerine bir takım problemlere sebebiyet vermektedir. Şüphesiz, Hz. Peygamber’in gerek şahsiyetinin gerekse hayatının istismar edilmesi bunların başında gelmektedir. Bunun neticesinde Müslümanlar arasında meydana gelen kırılma ve sarsıntılara ise tarih şahitlik etmektedir.
