A total 235 students attending to official kindergartens and the ones within primary schools under the Ministry of Education, in the city of Bolu were included in the study. The human figures that were made to draw by the students in order to collect data were analyzed through the method of "Human Figure Drawing" of Koppitz used for the children at the age of 5-12. The data obtained were analyzed in the program of SPSS 11.5. The correlation of each item with gender, with each age group in itself, was examined through chi-square. It was found that there was a correlation between gender and many items in the statistical analyses. Keywords: Preschool period, drawing improvement, human figure drawing.
