Abstract
Social policy generally covers public services in the fields of health, education, housing, social security, employment, and social services. Social policy issues attract the attention of students because they cover the problems, rights and responsibilities and current events that can be encountered in daily life. Within the scope of the social policy course, issues such as migration problem, right to education, disadvantaged groups, positive discrimination, and gender perspective are covered. In the study, after giving the theoretical knowledge about the concept of social policy, the topics covered by social policy and current problems of social policy; the course contents, and learning outcomes of the social policy courses given in 7 universities represented by 7 regions of Turkey will be included. The importance of the research emerges in terms of not only transferring theoretical knowledge to the students within the scope of the social policy course but also being aware of their rights and responsibilities as social citizens and raising awareness about this issue. The content analysis method has been used in the study. Inferences were obtained in line with the information contained in the student course information packages on the website of universities, faculties, and departments that offer social policy courses.

Sosyal politika genel olarak sağlık, eğitim, konut, sosyal güvenlik, istihdam ve sosyal hizmet alanlarındaki kamu hizmetlerini kapsamına alır. Sosyal politika konuları günlük yaşamda karşılaşılabilecek sorunları, güncel olayları, hak ve sorumlulukları kapsadığı için öğrencilerin ilgisini çekmektedir. Sosyal politika dersi kapsamında göç sorunu, eğitim hakkı, dezavantajlı gruplar, pozitif ayrımcılık ve toplumsal cinsiyetçi bakış açısı gibi konulara da yer verilmektedir. Çalışmada sosyal politika kavramı, sosyal politikanın kapsadığı konular ve sosyal politikanın güncel sorunlarına ilişkin teorik bilginin ardından Türkiye’nin 7 bölgesini temsilen ele alınan 7 üniversitede verilen sosyal politika dersinin ders içerikleri ve öğrenim kazanımlarına yer verilecektir. Araştırmanın önemi, sosyal politika dersi kapsamında öğrencilere yalnızca teorik bilginin aktarılması değil, aynı zamanda sosyal vatandaş olarak bireysel hak ve sorumluluklarının farkında olması ve bu konu ile ilgili bilincin yerleştirilmesi noktasında ortaya çıkmaktadır. Çalışmada içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Sosyal politika dersi veren üniversite, fakülte ve bölümlerin internet sitesinde, öğrenci ders bilgi paketlerinde yer alan bilgiler doğrultusunda çıkarımlar elde edilmiştir.
