Abstract

Fruiting bodies belonging to the Leucopaxillus compactus (P. Karst.) Neuhoff were collected from the Sevinç Neighborhood of Maçka district of Trabzon province in September 2021, described according to morphological data, and presented here as a new record for Turkey with field and microscopic illustrations and a short discussion. The pileus of fruiting bodies is pale greenish yellow, yellowish brown, reddish brown from place to places; lamellae are greenish yellow or pale orange, attached to the stem as wide or drooping on the stipe; stipes are whitish, slightly hairy and bulbous at the base. Basidiospores are broadly elliptical, spiny, and 5−9 × 3−5.5 µm.

Özet

Leucopaxillus compactus (P. Karst.)
