Abstract

Aim: The upper extremity y dynamic balance test is widely used to evaluate the limits and asymmetries of the upper extremity in athletes. The study aimed to examine the upper extremity dynamic balance scores of archers aged between 14-16. Methods: 47 athletes (Male=32 and Female=15) with an average age of 14.95±0.88, an average height of 170.38±9.62 and an average weight of 62.74±11.20 participated voluntarily in the study. Upper extremity dynamic balance scores of the participants were measured with the upper extremity y dynamic balance test. Composite scores were calculated using the formula (Medial + Inferolateral + Superolateral / 3). Results: As a result of the upper extremity y dynamic balance test in archers, a significant difference was found between the right and left measurements only in the inferolateral direction (p0.05). According to the findings of the study, there is a very strong positive relationship between the left composite score and the right composite score (r=0.922; p
