Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to determine the glycoconjugates in esophagus of rat (Rattus rattus) by Canavalia ensiformis (Con A), Datura stramonium (DSA), Helix pomatia (HPA) and Maackia amurensis. The esophaguses of 5 adult Wistar albino rats were used as material. Canavalia ensiformis (Con A), Helix pomatia (HPA), Maackia amurensis (MAA) and Datura stramonium (DSA) lectins were applied to sections. It was detected that the glycoconjugates in the epithelial surface of esophagus showed the strong and very strong Con A,very strong HPA and weak DSA reactions. There was no glycoconjugate showed MAA specifity in the mentioned regions. It was detected that the glycoconjugates in the rat esophagus did not contain sialic acid, and the distribution and density of glycoconjugates were differ between regions.

Özet

Bu çalışmada rat (Rattus rattus) özofagusunda bulunan glikokonjugatlarm Canavalia ensiformis (Con A), Datura stramonium (DSA), Helix pomatı'a (HPA) ve Maackia amurensis (MAA) lektinleri ile belirlenmesi amaçlandı.. 5 adet erişkin erkek Wistar albino türü ratın özofagusları materyal olarak kullamldı. Alınan kesitlere Canavalia ensiformis (Con A), Helix pomatı'a (HPA), Maackia amurensis (MAA) ve Datura stramonium (DSA) lektinleri uygulandı.
