Abstract

Today, laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the treatment of symptomatic gallstones has become the gold standard. As with any new surgical technique, laparoscopic cholecystectomy has become the current passing through certain stages of development. As in conventional surgery, iatrogenic bile duct injury in laparoscopic surgery which may result in the loss of the patient and is the most feared is not still overcome. Despite increasing the level of knowledge and experience, possibilities of iatrogenic bile duct injury significantly decreased the frequency. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is often presented as a first treatment option in Diagnosis and treatment of injuries of the biliary tract. However, the number of ERCP inability to implement the central and expert, expert surgeon prefers currently surgery for the first method of treatment. Despite all the measures taken, accessory bile duct injuries have great importance in among the causes of biliary duct injuries. Especially, the Luschka duct injuries which has close relationship with the gall bladder outshines due to the delay in diagnosis and treatment of injuries. In this article, we tried to present our treatment option in a patient who is in septic shock secondary to bile leakage because of Luschka duct injury during surgery.
