Abstract
Various training (internship) applications are made in order to make a student ready for the business life. Compulsory training application constitutes the most important difference between the vocational schools and faculties. Now the trainings in two year vocational schools are compulsory and in four year faculties they are executed on demand. Owing to the training, the student had the chance of recognizing the business life, gaining experience and comparing his/her theoretical and practical knowledge. Özet
Öğrencilerin iş hayatına adapte olabilmeleri için çeşitli staj uygulamaları yapılmaktadır. Zorunlu staj uygulaması Türkiye’de meslek yüksekokulları ile fakülteler arasındaki önemli farklardan birini oluşturmaktadır. Halen iki yıllık meslek yüksekokullarında staj zorunlu, dört yıllık bir eğitim-öğretim dönemini kapsayan fakültelerde ise isteğe bağlı olarak yürütülmektedir. Staj sayesinde öğrencilere iş hayatını tanıma, mesleklerine ilişkin kendilerine tecrübe kazandırma ve uygulama ile teorik bilgilerini karşılaştırma olanakları sağlanmaktadır. Meslek yüksekokullarında yürütülen staj çalışmalarıyla ilgili olarak yapılan bu araştırma ile de öğrencilerin bu konudaki fikir, düşünce ve önerilerinin ortaya konulması, elde edilen sonuçlar çerçevesinde kimi çözümler ve öneriler geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır
