Abstract

The mandible is an uncommonpresentation sitefor lymphoma. Misdiagnosis of mandibular lenfoma leads to catastrophic sequlea due to non-specifıc radiolagical fındings and difficulty in diagnosis without special dyes. We report a case of primary non-Hodgkin 's lymphoma, which has the appearance of malign bone tumor and causes bony destruction in right mandibular corpus region in a 57-year old man, and discuss its differential diagnosis.

Özet

Mandibula, lenfoma için çok alışıldık bir bölge değildir. Mandibuladaki lenfoma olguları, radyolojik özelliğinin non-spesifik olması, histopatolojik tanının özel boyalar yapılmaksızın zor olması nedeniyle yanlış tanı alarak katastroflk seketterle sonuçlanabilmektedir. Biz burada elli yedi yaşında görünümü malign bir kemik tümörüne çok benzeyen, korpusda destrüksiyona neden olan primer mandibular malign lenfomalı olguyu sunduk ve tanıda karşılaşılan zorluklan tartışdık.
