Özet

Çocuklarda ağrının azaltılmasına yönelik farmakolojik olmayan yöntemlerden biri iğnesiz akupunktur olarak da adlandırılan akupresürdür. Akupresür, akupunktur noktalarına stimülasyon bantları, el ve parmaklar ile basınç uygulanarak vücutta tıkanan enerji kanallarının açılmasını ve vücuttaki enerjinin dengeli dağılmasını sağlamaktadır. Çocuklarda tanı-tedavi amacıyla yapılan girişimler ve hastalık nedeniyle yaşadığı ağrıyı azaltmada akupresür etkili bir yöntemdir. Aynı zamanda uygulaması kolay, basit ve güvenilir olması akupresürün klinik ortamlarda da uygulanabileceğini göstermektedir.
