Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different mechanical ventilation strategies on hemodynamics airway pressures and arterial blood gases in healthy rabbits. Twenty New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 4 equal groups (n=5). Tracheostomy was performed in all animals undergoing ketamine (50 mg/kg, im) anaesthesia. After tracheostomy, all animals were ventilated with FiO2:1.0, respiratory rate: adjusted initial PaCO2 levels 35-45 mmHg for 180 minutes. Small tidal volume+Zero PEEP, I/E:l/2 was applied to group 1, Small tidal volume+10 cmH2O PEEP, 1/E.1/2 was applied to group 2, High tidal volume+Zero PEEP, I/E:l/2 was applied to group 3 and small tidal volume+Inverse ratio ventilation (I/E:2/1) was applied to group 4. There was no significant difference between groups regarding Mean arterial pressure and heart rate. PaO2 values of group 1 was lower than the other groups (p

Özet

Çalışmamızda, kullandığımız çeşitli mekanik ventilasyon stratejilerinin sağlıklı tavşanlarda hemodinami, hava yolu basınçları ve arter kan gazları üzerine olan etkilerini araştırmayı amaçladık. Yirmi adet Yeni Zelanda tipi albino tavşan rasgele 4 eşit gruba ayrıldı (n=5). Tavşanların hepsine ketamin anestezisi altında (50 mg/kg, İM) trakeostomi açıldı. Trakeostomi sonrası FiO2:1.0, solunum frekansı başlangıç PaCO2'si 35-45 mmHg olacak şekilde ayarlandı ve 180 dk süreyle ventile edildiler. Birinci gruba düşük volüm (DV:5 mL/kg)+ZEEP (sıfır PEEP), Inspirium/Ekspirium (İ / E):l / 2, 2. gruba DV+PEEP (10 cmH2O), İ / E:1/ 2, 3. gruba yüksek volüm (YV:30 mL/kg)+ZEEP, İ / E:1/ 2, 4. gruba ise DV+IRV ("inverse ratio ventilation") (2/1) uygulandı. Hayvanların ortalama arter basınçları (OAB), kalp atım hızları (KAH), "Ppeak", "Ppause", "Pmean" havayolu basınçları, kompliyansları ve arter kan gazları değerleri (AKG) takip edildi. Gruplar arası OAB, KAH'da istatistiki fark bulunamadı. PaO2 değerinin 1. grupta diğer gruplara göre düştüğü görüldü (p
