Abstract

Aim: To investigate the neonatal morbidity and mortality results in preterm premature rupture of membranes. Material and Method: A review of 228 PPROM singleton pregnancies followed-up in our clinic between 1996 and 2005 was performed. Results: The most common neonatal morbidities in PPROM cases are respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis and intraventricular hemorrhage. The route of delivery does not affect NICU requirement, perinatal asphyxia, sepsis and IVH rates in PPROM cases. NICU and PPV requirement, RDS, sepsis and IVH rates increase if APGAR score is

APGAR skoru
