To determine the exact number of members of labour unions in Turkey is a serious problem. This is the case in Edirne, too. This study, examining the number of members of labour unions between 2001 and 2005 in Edirne, indicates that there has been a progress between those years but that the number of member workers is still limited

Özet

Sendikaların üye sayılarının gerçekçi bir şekilde tespit edilmesi, Türkiye’de ciddi bir sorun oluşturmaktadır. Mevcut durum, Edirne için de geçerlidir. Edirne’de 2001 – 2005 yılları arasında işçi sendikalarının üye sayılarını inceleyen bu araştırma, mevcut yıllar arasında az da olsa bir gelişme olduğunu ancak, sendikalı işçi sayısının sınırlı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır
