Abstract

Summary Primary cardiac sarcoma is an uncommon entityand is related with poor long-term survival. Presented hereis an unusual case of right atrial leiomyosarcoma which al- most completely occluded both the right atrium and ventricleand destroyed the tricuspid valve. Multimodality imaging wasused to characterize the mass and guide surgical manage- ment. A combination of two radical surgical excisions andboth radiation and chemotherapy resulted in a better long- term outcome. The patient was one of the longest survivors.

Özet Primer kalp sarkomu kötü uzun süreli sağkalım ileilişkili nadir bir durumdur. Neredeyse tamamen sağ atriyumve ventrikülü tıkayan ve triküspit kapağı parçalayan sağ at- riyum leomiyosarkomu bulunan nadir bir olgu sunuldu. Çokcihazlı görüntüleme kitleyi belirlemek ve cerrahi tedavisiniyönlendirmek için kullanıldı. İki radikal cerrahi eksizyon,radyasyon ve kemoterapi tedavisinin kombinasyonun uzunvadeli sonuçları daha iyi idi. Hastamız en uzun sağkalımasahip olgulardan biriydi.
