Bu çalışma küreselleşme sürecinde Türkiye’desinema sektöründe değişen pazar dinamiklerine ve ulusal-uluslararası aktörlerin politikayapım sürecindeki etkinliklerine odaklanmaktadır. Çalışmada küreselleşmeye ilişkin kavramsalbir çerçeve sunulmakta, izlenen ulusal ve uluslararası politikalar bu süreçle ilişkiiçinde tartışılmakta ve Türkiye’de sinema sektörüne ilişkin sorunlar araştırılmaktadır.Çalışmanın sonucunda, film üretim teknolojisindeki değişimin ve dağıtım-gösterim süreçlerineilişkin yapısal sorunların göz ardı edildiği saptanmış, film pazarındaki yapısaldeğişiklikleri daha geniş biçimde, küresel bağlamda değerlendiren ve alanın aktörlerinipolitika yapım sürecine dâhil eden bir anlayışın gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır.
