Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the clinical and MRI properties of RDD. The patients' medical charts with a diagnosis of RDD according to Revel's Criteria were reviewed retrospectively. Demographic (age, gender), clinical (night pain, morning stiffness, lumbar stiffness, ESR, duration of severe pain) and imagery (X-ray, MRI) properties were noted. Twenty-one patients (13 female) with mean age 49 years (SD:12.2) were included in the study. The intervertebral space narrowing in < 2 years was raised from 50% to 100% (mean: 55.3; SD:12.6), L5-S1 and L4-L5 levels were involved more frequently (respectively 11 patients and 6 patients) than the other levels.
