Abstract

Objective: To explore the different doses and application ways of acetylsalicylic acid on its antiplatelet effects in patients with acute coronary syndrome. Material and Method: This study included 30 patients with acute coronary syndrome. The patients were divided into three groups as 1x100 mg, 1x300 mg, and 3x100 mg. Thrombocyte aggregation levels at 2 hours (early) and 24 hours (late) after initial acetylsalicylic acid on 3rd day of acute coronary syndrome were compared with VerifyNow® acetylsalicylic acid test. Results: The Acetylsalicylic Acid Reaction unit value was found 402.4±29.3 in acetylsalicylic acid 300mg per day groups’, 440.4±36.7 Acetylsalicylic Acid Reaction unit was found in 100mg 3 times a day groups’, and the 418.2±41 Acetylsalicylic Acid Reaction unit was found in acetylsalicylic acid 100 mg per day groups at 2nd hours measured respectively (p=0.04). All groups’ values were increased at 24th hour measurements compared with first 2nd hour measurements, but this increasing was minimum in 1x300 mg acetylsalicylic acid group. There was no difference in values of the groups at 24th hour measurement. Conclusion: Antiplatelet effect of both 100 mg and 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid dosages decreased during the day but their efficacy con‐ tinued and there was no difference between the doses. Despite the theoretical advantages of the use of acetylsalicylic acid in divided doses, our study doesn’t show any superiority.

Özet

Amaç: Akut koroner sendrom hastalarında farklı asetilsalisilik asit dozları ve uygulama şekillerinin asetilsalisilik asit in antiagregan et‐ kinliği üzerine etkisini incelemek.
