Abstract

Acute coronary syndrome is a major cause of morbidity and mortality world- wide. Although acute coronary syndrome is usually the disease of people over 45 years old, a number of younger patients are also diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome. Besides atherosclerosis, non-atherosclerotic causes of acute coronary syndrome should also be considered during diagnosis. In this paper, we reviewed all causes of the acute coronary syndrome in the young adults.

Özet

Akut koroner sendrom, dünya genelinde morbidite ve mortalitenin önemli birnedenidir. Akut koroner sendrom genellikle 45 yaş üstünde görülse de, bazıgenç hastalar da akut koroner sendrom tanısı alırlar. Aterosklerozun yanı sıra, ateroskleroz olmadan gelişen akut koroner sendrom nedenleri de tanı esnasında düşünülmelidir. Bu makalede, genç erişkinlerde, tüm akut koroner sendrom nedenlerini gözden geçirdik.
