İstanbul Hızlı Tramvay Kartaltepe İstasyonu'na ait şevlerin tahkimi çalışması İ.Ü. Orman Fakültesi tarafından 1988 yılında projelendirilmiş ve uygulanmıştır. Yazıda projenin uygulama esasları anlatılmış ve uygulamadan altı yıl sonra yapılan incelemede şev tahkimi çalışmalarından olumlu sonuç alındığı görülmüştür.
