Abstract

Advanced atherosclerotic heart disease accepted as a highrisk group for surgical therapy. Treatment of carotid artery stenosis and cerebral aneurysms in such patients, endovascular therapy of carotid artery stenosis and cerebral aneurysm, because of high risk, is preferred to surgical therapy. We describe a case, which was treated with endovascular stent placement for carotid artery stenosis and endovascular coil embolization of a middle cerebral artery aneurysm because of advanced atherosclerotic heart disease.
