Abstract

Carotid artery stenosis usually seen with atherosclerosis. Diffuse intimal hyperplasia, Mönckeberk Sclerosis and hypertensive atherosclerosis also may cause carotid artery stenosis. Although carotid artery stenosis is treated surgically, today endovascular treatment is getting used more frequently than before. We describe findings and early follow up results of 3 patients with carotid artery stenosis that are treated with endovascular route.
